Re: Another project!
I love that color combo! I'm curious about the rectangular headlight bezels. Or is it past my bed time? I did wake up at 4:30 AM...

Here are some updates, this was done a couple months ago but better late than never. The previous owner had a big block in it and must have had the wrong headers. He clearanced the a arms instead of getting the correct ones.

Re: Another project!
The front crossmember was from a 1978 square body with some type of Diesel engine in it. Kinda looked like an Oldsmobile motor

Here is where I mounted the 1990 Jeep Wrangler fuel tank with a 1993 Chevy blazer sending unit and walbro fuel pump.

A little something to try and get the stance right, I also had to get the saggy torched springs off of it anyway.

Re: Another project!
Excellent work, Carl. What plans do you have for the truck? Daily driver?
|
Re: Another project!
Yea, I have been daily driving it for about a month now. I wanted the LS swap to be as simple as possible but now I wish I would have put an overdrive transmission in it. Reason being is the fuel mileage isn’t what I’d like it to be with the th400. I didn’t want to change the speedo over to electric because of cost but now with fuel it would have easily paid for itself. I have the 71 (Henry) that I’m building to be a show truck and my intentions with this truck was to fix it up to be a daily driver and sell for a profit.
