WTB AC Bracket, The top short adjuster
1 Attachment(s)
I am looking for the top short adjuster. That is all I need. I have extras of other AC brackets if you want to trade, but my truck came without this piece. Thanks

Re: WTB AC Bracket, The top short adjuster
I want to make it clear that I am not looking for a trade. I am glad to pay money. Just thought I would mention that I have other brackets in case someone would want to mak
e a trade. Thanks, George |
Re: WTB AC Bracket, The top short adjuster
I am at the end of my build and this is one of the last parts I need. I hope to get the AC running again. I bought the truck without AC working.

What type of engine is that bracket going on?

The flat bracket in the following thread doesn't quite look like the image you posted. Is the difference due to different model years?

Re: WTB AC Bracket, The top short adjuster
The truck rear adjusters are not flat, it may look flat in the picture but it is off set to match the off set mounting boss on the cast intake bracket. Some years the rear adjusters have a notch like the first picture.

Re: WTB AC Bracket, The top short adjuster
I have to agree with 72BBGMC. I copied the photo from another post. It does look somewhat flat due to the angle from which the photo was taken. But the one I am looking for is truly offset to accommodate the bracket placement. I cannot speak to all the different years these top brackets were used. I have a 72 Chevy with the notch cut out. I have not seen that it is too important. I am needing one for my 70 GMC Sierra Grande. I will be grateful for anything that works.
