A light coat of dust will barely stick, dirt doesn't stand a chance. I have had the truck outside for 8 hours a day for almost 2 weeks, it has accumulated a very light coating of dust. I gave it a light spray of water, and then blasted it dry with my leaf blower. My touchless 2 minute car wash, looks like a fine hand wash. The detail shop said to only use a 25% alcohol and 75% distilled water solution in an old spray bottle, as a detail spray, in between washes. If I ever need a more thorough wash, he recommended DAWN dish water soap and water. I had avoided dish soap as a car wash in the past, as I know it will remove all waxes, but he said the DAWN will have NO effect on the ceramic. He also said no need for a chamois, just use your leaf blower instead. If I perfer to manually dry, he recommends a quality mictrofiber towel, but 95% of the rinse water just rolls off. So far so good. |
