Valve cover oil filler funnel.
1 Attachment(s)
About a year ago a mechanic showed me a Hiper Tough funnel #05071 bar code 817739011036. This funnel fits the valve cover oil full hole on my 75 -350 and does not move until you are ready to remove it. This funnel allows me to add oil with out having to removing the air cleaner.
I liked the funnel so much I went to Walmart to purchace another one but now they are no longer stocked. Does any one know where I might find another one of these funnels? |
Re: Valve cover oil filler funnel.
Did you try Walmart online? Shows Lowe's carries it under this code,

74C10Y thank you very much for finding the same funnel at Lowes.
Now I have 4 spare funnels that are labeled FloTool #05062. |
Re: Valve cover oil filler funnel.
I have been using the blue rectangular ones from the parts stores. Those lock into the fill hole too and I can let the oil bottle lay in the funnel for 5 minutes and drain every drop out of it.

Re: Valve cover oil filler funnel.
I've been buying the transmission funnels and cutting them off where I need to have hem fit snug in the hole. Just pour a quart at a time. Goes pretty quick. The extra drippings go into a gallon jug for my chainsaw bar

Re: Valve cover oil filler funnel.
I'm looking for the factory tube that goes in the valve cover that the cap goes on. If I can't find one, I'll switch the valve covers around so my fill hole is on the right bank in front instead of under the brake booster.
