van tilt bearings - where to get?

I have a van tilt that needs a lower bearing replaced before I install it. Where can I get bearings and how can I tell what year column I have?

I bought mine at dealer. Take it out and let the parts man rummage a few minutes. On mine, he just looked up a number and walked back there muttering under his breath. He came back a few minutes later with the bearing. The same bearing fits a lot of years columns. Mine were for an 87 motorhome technically.

I always used to cringe when someone would want a bearing matched up, but 9 times out of 10, it's a direct part number interchange and an easy yes or no. Any parts man with half a brain and a little skill can hook you up.
