Looking for hole cover/part number info
 

My 57 has a hole in the left kick panel that I guess had a heater connected to it. I would like to block it off but cant find any info on it except maybe a part number 3716170. Any help?

that hole is for the deluxe heater. it is a simple square shaped piece of metal that covers the hole. you could easily make one till you come across the actual part you need, or just keep using the home made part.

Ditto. I made a simple block off to cover the hole left from the original deluxe heater box. I’m going with Vintage Air

To add to what they said, just take that piece off and lay it on a piece of sheet metal and trace it and cut it out and drill the holes in the correct spots. If you find one to buy that is all it will be anyhow.

I was surprised I could find no info online. I found a piece of tin and made a cover.

Good on us. It's a hole that needs a cover. It prolly didnt have a part number stamped on it anyway.

The aftermarket deluxe heater delete plate is 20 bucks from most vendors and is just a rectangular sheet of Tin with rounded corners and six holes drilled in it. I need to save the one out of the orange 51 cab I have for my 48 come to think about it.

I never did find one for a TF.

Not meaning to derail the post..
Got a question.
I’m in the process of doing firewall mods. For FUTURE purchase of vintage air.
Doing the mods from their pdf of installation instructions and they say silicon the flap vent door shut, but haven’t found any info about the square hole if it’s needed for the vintage air.
Blank it off? Or keep it?

For a majority of the vintage air kits you block it off for the trucks.
They pull all air from inside truck.
But it depends on the kit you are planning to use since you are using those templates.
Some of the other brands did take advantage of hole.
I would just make a cover for it and you can always use it later if your kit calls for it.
