Fenders
Has anyone found aftermarket fenders that fit decent? I bought a pair a couple years ago and the fit doesn't look like it will be very good. I've heard for years that they are junk but figured I'd ask if maybe there has been any improvement recently.

I have bought one for a 65 one time from lmc and it fit fine

Re: Fenders
I bought two for my 65 GMC from Rockauto, and the holes had to be massaged a bit, but other that that, they fit fine.

Re: Fenders
My personal opinion: You can spend the time/money/effort to repair your rusted/dented fenders OR you can spend the time/money/effort to get the aftermarket fenders to fit like you'd like. I opted for the aftermarket fenders on my truck. I had to do some modifications to get them to fit how I wanted. So, I feel like you just have to pick and choose which option you want to tackle...rust and dent repairs or modifications to get aftermarket fenders to properly fit.

Yep that's where I'm at. I think between my two trucks I have a salvageable set that I can fix and just use the new ones on my 62 one ton. |
