Is this the stock washer tank on my C10? Not sure what PO did
 

Hey Guys,

I'm slowly trying to figure out what the PO did with the washer/wiper system on my truck. Looks like he added and rewired in an aftermarker squirter button on the dash (that doesn't work). The stock wiper button does move the wipers but nothing happens when I push the button in.

My main question is, what has he done to the tank, is it original? Is this the stock washer tank location or is it supposed to be on the fender side?

Not the correct tank. The correct one is almost square. I have seen them mounted where yours is but most have been on the drivers fender.

Aux battery goes there, and that’s the wrong tank goes on driver inner fender

Here are a couple of photos from my '68, where it is mounted to the back of the radiator support. The third photo is a '69 I used to own, and shows it mounted to the driver side fender.

69 Pix is correct. Same as my 72.
