Buddy Bucket Seat Frame Bolt Locations
1 Attachment(s)
I'm putting '68 buddy buckets in my '72 (originally bench seat). What is the consensus on the red circled center mount? Should I try to drill a hole in the cab floor and install a bolt there?
Or are the two bolts on each outer edge of the seat frame adequate? |

I did with mine, along with a left over gas tank metal plate underneath as a washer

I do have an original '72 bucket cab floor brace I salvaged from a Blazer tub I scrapped years ago. I'll have to do some measuring. |

Re: Buddy Bucket Seat Frame Bolt Locations
I have had 2 1967 cst trucks 1 gmc and 1 chevy with factory buddies and both did not have that hole drilled . I did drill it in my restoration and I removed a piece from another floor so it looked stock and used it as a washer but I guess the factory did not think it was needed.
