Heater core next to evaporator?

2 Attachment(s)
Hi, thanks for helping me out on this.

My heater core is disconnected and my evaporator seems to be missing. I have AC controls on the dash and dash AV vents. Also, the engine I bough has an AC compressor. Looks like I am missing most other AC components otherwise and maybe have some incorrect components.

1) Does the heater core and ac evaporator sit in the same box side by side?

2) Do I have the right heater box for AC trucks?

3) Do I have the wrong heater core. This one looks like it if for non-AC trucks.

That picture shows the evaporator core, not the heater core.

No, the AC evap has it's unique and special box inside the engine bay; the heater core is housed inside its box inside the cab. These two boxes are mounted back-to-back from eachother, separated by the firewall sheetmetal.

You don't provide pics of any heater core housing; but that's because you don't yet know the answers to the questions you're asking. I'm sure by the time you read this you will know that you supplied only pics of the Evap box(fragments)

As was state by Steve, your pic is of an A/C Evap. In fact what you are looking at is only FOR a/c trucks lol
