Weatherstripping

I need new door to cab seals, it looks like there are two types available glue on and push on. Has anybody tried the push on? Do they stay in place? I thought it would be nice not to mess with glue if the push on ones work.

Re: Weatherstripping

I used the Honda Civic seals. Couldn't be happier. They are push on and have had no issues.

06-11 Honda 2dr civic fit. The four doors versions are too short. They come it two colors on the internal plastic.
Weatherstripping from a 2013 Ram standard cab truck also works.

I purchased my Honda seals new. Noticed they are often "out of stock" now days?
Cheers

Go with the Honda Civic weatherstrips and don't look back. They go on perfect and you can remove them if you need to.

The Honda Civic door seals are fantastic,
they close with a soft click, great

Couldn't find Civic coupes in pull a part. Ended up getting weatherstrip out of Honda Element with the 60/40 double door. Strips ended up a couple of inches longer than what I needed.

Re: Weatherstripping

I put new rubber seals on my truck, and they keep the doors from closing completely. I tried trimming them, but I am still having the problem. Will the Honda seals help with that issue?

They might, but in my experience they always seem to need some door adjustments. It really may depend on if yours has had body panels changed or door hinges worn out. Honda seals are great, and so are the Prescion push ons, but they can't compensate for poor door alignment. In my case I bit the bullet and pulled the fender and cowel corner to get them out of the way and got a helper and adjusted the door. Hinge to cab lets you adjust up/ down and side to side, while hinge to door sets the depth in the frame. It takes patience and a floor jack at the door bottom is a big help too.

Honda seals on my 65 as well. I even managed to find a gray set to match my silver interior.
