Attn Canadians - Any paint vendors able to match paint in spray cans
 

I'm slowly collecting nicer used truck panels to replace my most damaged or rusty ones on my truck. I am wondering if anyone knows of a paint supply vendor in Canada who can somewhat match my paint color and put it in rattle cans.

Most places who do this seem to be in the US and can't ship the cans across the border. I'm not looking for a crazy perfect match, just something close to my original color so I don't have a multi colored truck for the next two years before I start on paint and body work.

Go talk to the guys at Napa.
They’ll likely know.

our local O'reilly's will match (as close as possible) and put it in a rattle can.

not sure if you guys have O'reilly's but if so you may check there.

I've used walkers in Saskatoon. They have made me a lot of spray bombs and I've been very pleased. I would contact them and see if they can hook you up with the color you need

we can get rattle cans here in your colour at the local Bumper to Bumper store.you may not have them out west?

I gave Napa the paint code and they got it for me. Did some scratches in box and its exact.

These guys are good, have all the colors for our trucks. Spray cans, small bottles with brush, paint pens etc.

Thanks guys! I didn't realize that autobody paint supply stores could do this. I called around to one in my city and they said no problem just get us the paint code which is sweet and way easier than I thought! It's pretty pricey at $33 CAD a can but priceless when I need to seal up my rocker panels and new cab sheet metal easily

On a side note, my paint code is 514 "Light Red". Is that all I have to give them or does 514 translate to a different code they will need?

I paid about 60.00 for a can for my truck at Walkers in Saskatoon so 33.00 is bargain.

Oh wow, $60 a can is pretty steep!

Anyone know about the GM paint codes, do I just say GM paint code 514 and that's it?

Wouldn't hurt to go to the place and look at a paint sample chip if you can before you get your can ordered. They should have a book with colour samples just to make sure it's correct.
