Wobbly wiper switch

Is your wiper switch wobbly? My truck didn't have one so I bought one from LMC. I'm shocked at how wobbly it is. I checked out another at their warehouse and it's wobbly too. I looked at 2 other websites and their switches look like they come from the same suppliers. If all C10 wiper switched feel a bit loose and have play in them I won't worry about it.

Make sure you have the set screw in the knob on the flat part of the switch. Don't over tighten.

It's the post that comes out of the switch that has a fair bit of play. Attaching the knob doesn't affect it.

The picture above looks as though it is missing a piece. Mine has a nut that attaches the switch to the metal dash, where as the bezel/chrome piece only serves to snug up to the bezel.
