Hello looking at switching a my 1975 K10 with a 203 to a 1980/205 would there be any issue or should everything bolt up.
Thanks

Couple of links for you.

It has been years since I have studied this.

Kipps will probably chime in with the Answer;)

As long as you have the correct adapter for the swap and maybe the spline sleeve depending on which transmission you have

Its a 205 from a 350 going on to my 350 that was mated to the 203. I think they both are 27 spline. Not sure if 32 spline ever made it in a 350

Nope, 27 spline only

If a 205 doesn't have the ID plate are there any other markings or cast numbers that will help Identify the year etc. Thanks
