Engine is not original, but was pulled from a 72 C10. The casting numbers show the block would have been from a 86- 88 truck. Casting number 14088548. I don’t think the block or internals have much value except for possibly a core, but there is a lot of performance/aftermarket parts that could be used.
I have a list of some of the parts with some retail values when new, with the exception of the cam, lifters and timing chain most items could be used for another project. Adding up most of the bolt on parts, the total comes close to $3500. All the parts listed have less than 5000 miles on them, except the block.

My question is, would it be reasonable to ask $1700 for what is shown, with most of the value being in the Heads, carb, intake and headers?
I don’t sell parts very often, and when I do it’s mostly Craigslist or I have my wife post them on Facebook, so parting things out slowly is a pain, I would hope to sell it in one lump.

What do you think is a fair price?
