Anyone bought the premium grill #1 and chrome headlight bezels # 7 ?

The LMC and USA1 both say they a GM Authorized reproduction parts. You can’t go wrong with those. I haven’t use the 81, but I have used the 85-87 GM Authorized grille. And I can tell you that there is a difference in the GM Authorized and regular ole aftermarket grilles. Better quality and fitment.

Never knew about USA1

The Truck Shop in Orange service and catalog sucks maybe their grills do to, and Ive got junk from Brothers before

Just read in the description. If it’s a GM Authorized Reproduction grille, then it’s a well made grille. I would gladly pay a little more money. I’ve used both and there is definitely a difference in quality

Keep us updated on what you get.. my 81 has 3 broke bars in it and I've been thinking about replacing it

I got an 81-82 grille a couple months ago. Haven't installed it yet, but it's a TriPlus part, ordered from USA-1. The grille looks very nice and my guess is that it will bolt up just fine. I haven't had a chance to install it yet though

Thanks for the info

I called and messaged USA-1 and asked who the manufacturer of the grill is. They replied: "Unfortunately, we do not have that information listed. Our apologies"

Of course they don't have it listed :lol:

I will say that my dad ordered the grille, headlight bezels, hardware kit for the grille, and turn signals back in early December. The grille and headlight bezels didn't show up until end of January. We got a notification that the front turn signal assemblies finally shipped yesterday. Still haven't seen that little hardware kit.

I know Auto Metal Direct sells the triplus grilles, but they didn't have one in stock when my dad was ordering my Christmas present that still hasn't completely showed up yet.

In the Triplus box is the grille, the headlight bezels are in the white bags
