I believe those are for a step van. The trucks in 67-68 were red.

It's OK, my 67 will have a bit of a light gold accent to the emblems, Mar-K side trim and possibly the wheels. So they will be perfect for my build.

But they are for a van, I just liked them because they were NOS, first.. and I like the gold.

..yall know I like gold..

I didn't realize they were meant for vans, but I have noticed them on trucks here before.

Not mine:

No worries- I actually wanted the gold ones. It doesn't bother me they originally came on vans. My truck has an LS and some other stuff too, that it didn't necessarily come with. But to each their own I guess. I'm pretty sure they're the same emblem, just a different color. Either way, I'm happy to get them.

That green truck is incredible. I think that's "Gumby" of I'm not mistaken. Renee's old truck (It might still be his, I haven't talked to him in years)

Been too many years since I was much deeper into these trucks, so I claim confusion. In the mid 70's, I had a neighbor with a '66-'67 van, but I don't remember any real detail. May have been a '68 too...
I am not a red fan and like the gold bow tie better too. And looking at Anniversary trucks, the Gold would have been a better color on them anyway...;)
When I do find a nice used set for the missing emblems on mine, I will be very tempted to paint them Gold or even Blue to match the color.
