Air conditioner vent assembly questions ...??
 

Couple questions on the driver and pass. vent assembly

1. Is the felt always slightly visible from the outside ?
2. What is the piece that holds the vent ball in ?
3. Which direction is forward for the vent - they are different on each side?

I have factory A/C and the felt is always visible when assembled. I had white felt strips I used on my vents and need to use black due to visibility since white does not look right.

The vent ball should be held in place by the vent tube fitting which should clip into the back side engaging in the 3 visible tabs as pictured, the vent duct will attach to it...

Anyone have any vent tube fittings they would like to sell ?? I seem to be missing that piece .......
