Anyone have front springs out that you can measure for me?

Can someone who has a pair of front springs sitting out of the truck measure the top (smaller) coil for me? I want to put some spacers in mine, but need accurate measurements and I'd prefer to not to have to drop a spring to measure mine.

I need the inside and outside diameter of the small coil at the top.

Thanks in advance!

Just to be clear, what I'm looking for is the inner and outer diameter of the small coil that sits in the frame pocket.

hmm, I'm not sure I didn't toss mine. I'll look tonight when I get home if you don't get an answer before then.

My Squarebody coil springs, which I'm sure will be similar, are 2" ID at the tightest (it's more of a D-shaped pigtail than round), and 4-1/2" at the widest. Keep in mind that the upper mount in the crossmember is not perfectly flat. The pigtail is NOT concentric with the rest of the spring.

Consider, instead, weight jacks used in circle track - this turns them into "adjustable coilovers" of sorts. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Front...Jack,3386.html

Hmmm. I was hoping for something simpler than that. Plus Speedway doesn't think they will fit, probably due to the small size of the upper coil.

I may have to just break down and pull a spring to see what I have and what I can use. I'd like to use something like these isolators, but will need to know the coil size first.

I could still use confirmation of the small pigtail ID, but it's looking like I could get ⅝" with a pair of these at the top...

Thanks. That pretty much seals it, the spacers I was looking at aren't going to work. I'm going to need to pull one of the springs out and look for ID numbers or paint marks to figure out what I have, and what I need to raise it an inch. Probably sometime later this week.
