purchased wheels for 98 Sierra nd hub center is too small
Can someone with more knowledge on wheels help me out please? I purchased a set of wheels yesterday from FB Marketplace. They were presented as OBS wheels off a 94 and even had pictures. I got them home and tried them on my 72, 84, and 98. All the bolt patterns match, but the center hole is a little too small for my chevy hubs on all 3 trucks. I checked back with the seller and he said his wheel shop did it all. I am guessing they used spacers. Any idea what truck these wheels would fit on from factory? It would be a 5x5 bolt pattern with a smaller hole in center. I hate the idea of using spacers myself so if I know what factory vehicle this would match I can try to move these with the correct information.

More than likely you have Jeep Wrangler wheels. the OBS 5 lug wheels (and GM big cars) use a 78.3 center hole or bore, while the Wrangler uses a 71.5. I had thought about using them on my 70, but the bore size killed it and I did not want to use spacers.

You could have a machine shop bore out the centers if you really like the wheels. I have had that done before.
