Trucks at the Old Steel car show in Union Gap today

As the pickings are slim for AD and TF trucks I looked for an event coverage page but didn't find it.

One of the first events of the year in this area and the kick off event for many to get their car or truck out for the first time of the year is the Old Steel car club show at the Central Washington Agriculture museum that is a show in it's self if you like old farm equipment.

Not many AD trucks this year nor many TF but a number of 67/72 and 73 and up square bodies.

The 50 with the rat rod look is a fresh out of the shop truck as far as I can figure. The builder has usually built some crazy rat rods and this is a bit mild for him. I sure like the seat in the truck though.

It isn't a truck but the photo really isn't about the shoebox Fprd. It's far more about the gent's focus and attention to taking his photo and the perplexed look on his dauther's face when dad and the old guy with the gray beard were so intent on taking their photos of the car.

I've shown photos of the yellow and black truck a number of times and it is at just about every show in the area just as it has been for years. The Gray truck belongs to one of the gents who puts on a weekly cars and coffee event early on Saturday mornings and it is a pretty nice but real simple truck.

The Blue AD if it is on this post is another local show regular. Pretty much showroom stock with very few updates.

The mid 60's 8 lug square body is pretty nice. I should have given it and every other truck in this row more attention. The big truck fleetside (yellow and white) is a really nifty build. Fun thing was that I passed a really nice original GMC flatbed the same year on the road when I was headed home that was doing a day's work.

The Blue and gray truck and the Red 4x4 are examples of the seriously nice trucks we have in this area.

First of several 77 and up square bodies. I'm a bit partial to orange though.

A club of just square bodies out in the back row. Nice trucks a bunch.

A original as far as I can tell Heavy Chevy.

The Teal TF that was in the background in the shot of the white mid 60's truck with the Corvette chassis Bailed while I was walking around.

Artie was there with his GMC with the Blown 302 six but my knees were screaming and I have posted photos of it a number of times before.

Then a couple of trucks that passed me as I was hobblng out.

Last but not least was this nice Blazer that passed me on the way out.

I got there pretty late as my son called at 7:30 and invited us to breakfast 20 miles in the other direction as they had come in from Idaho to pick up a couple of horses and a pony for my grandson. Can't pass up a couple of hours with them.

There is a mix match of a bit of everything at this event as it is open and you might see a brass Model T, an AD truck, a new Corvette with just bought it yesterday plates and a rat rod all in the same row.

Do you have any more photos with details of how this bed cover was setup? In particular how it seals to box, drains, latches.

I'd have to look in my other photos from past shows. As we were saying in a FB group earlier today, If he doesn't show up at your Central Washington event you didn't advertise or he had somewhere else to go. I'll probably see the truck again in the next few weeks and can try to get some detailed photos of the cover. I don't think it seals weather out all that well though.

don't go out of your way, just curious.
I like the look of cover below the top of box sides and thought there might be a magic seal method I hadn't figured out.

No Problem I hit a lot of the local shows and he is at a lot of the local shows. Truthfully he is likely to show up anywhere as they rack up the miles on that truck and distance isn't an issue for them.
