Some time ago I found a wrecking yard near Coeur D' Alene ID. that specializes
in Chevy AD trucks.
If I remember correctly it was In Hayden Lake.
Any one know if it's still there or what happened to it?

A few years ago there was a guy up in that general area who gathered up AD parts and always had listings on Craigslist I thought he was south of Spokane towards Pulman though. The last add I saw that he had said he was selling everything off and you could buy one part or all of it.

seems to me that I heard the guy in Hayden Lake was also selling out. I went there a few years a go but maybe there is / was a guy in Pullman doing the same thing. How long a go did you hear either of these guys were selling out?

There was a guy in Dufur Oregon that had tons of parts, he said it was all or nothing if you wanted a part. Well someone bought it. Acres of AD parts. I have no idea where it all went

Gary was around about 20 months ago. Bought a bunch of parts from him. Was wanting to get some finish trim from him, but I think he isn't around anymore. Now have to buy new and age it to look 70 years old.

fauXGT. think that's the guy I was looking for. Google maps shows a large structure / warehouse but nothing that looks like the collection of trucks he had. Too bad he's out of business.

I should try calling him.
The google satellite pic I saw is about what he had a couple of summers ago.
He was trying to sell me the lot back then and retire.

Gary is still kicking around and still selling AD parts. He's got about 10 trucks in various stages there still, a large handful of doors (like 40 or so), hoods and a ton of other parts.

I was there talking with him about a month ago and he just picked up another AD pickup in great shape with next to no rust. If you're looking for a project or parts, and live in the area, I'd go see him!

Gary is the guy above Hayden lake. As in up the road a few miles further.

It may have been him I was seeing the adds from and getting mixed up on exactly where he was.

He used to craigslist ad alot and hadn't seen them in months.
He's close to 'Silverwood' theme park (a mini Disney), so someone could tackle dropping off the grandkids to play for the day, then go play yourself.;)
