New seat foam

For those that have ordered new seat foam, did the foam already have the internal wires and structure built inside? I'm looking at my seats are trying to determine how new foam vs. trying to "patch" existing might work. Any insight is appreciated. And is there any particular foam that's better? Or just like other parts, there might only be one manufacturer that's making it. Thanks.

None of the foam I’ve used for bucket seats had wires, just bare foam. I used USA made foam supplied by Wes at Classic Heartbeat.

The PO put some hi-back bucket seats from an '80s [~?] Camaro/Firebird in my '71 Jimmy. They have seat foam that was injected around wire spring frames. I bought the truck in '95. They were old then. Now they're really shot. Spring ends protrude up from the foamless areas and poke me in the butt. I've been told by seat shops that style was unavailable, and unrepairable.
Things may be different by now. IDK.

I need to replace my bucket seats soonest. PO also used 4x4'' wood blocks to mount the rear seat mounts. Lagscrews into the wood. Not the safest attachment in a major collision. I just figure I'd be dead.
