WTB 1965 data trim tag in nice usable condition, i also want it to have 538AD for paint and Z62AA trim. please send pics and price. also it should have the 283 displacement as the largest engine, it shouldnt have the 327 displacement that was an option late 65 into 66

Re: WTB 1960-65 data trim tag

They are different 60-62 , 63 and 64-66 so you might want to narrow that down. Also you can buy them new stamped to your specs

You are picking gnat crap from pepper by not just having one stamped by Tony Smith at 4-5-6 Chevy trucks in Kansas City. Additionally you cannot expect the AD and AA lettering to be present on any theoretical tag you might incdentally dig up - those are related to Dupont paint and assembly line characteristics and are often unique to assembly plant and date range of assembly. The likelihood of you coming up with another tag exactly as you describe it is 100% ZERO. Will never happen. No one on this green earth suffers worse from OCD than me and I'm telling you its not worth it. Watching for trucks being dismantled on Facebook Marketplace that you see clearly are the color you are describing might yield one but the wheelbase won't be right, or it didn't have custom comfort, or something will prevent it from being right. Been down this road with a hell of as lots easier to find paint code and discovered this was just me being stupid and picky. Save yourself and call Tony and be done with it :)
