1962 GMC K1000 Suburban fuse box mounting screws

The fuse box on my truck has long Phillips sheet metal screws that go through the fire wall from the rear. They stick out into the engine compartment about an inch. The screw points are something io avoid as the points will get you. Is this the factory mounting screw type? What scrw does your 1962 GMC have?

I've concluded that the long screws are original, and it doesn't matter that they hang out past the fire wall since the ends are enclosed by the inner fender. I've had the fenders off so long I didn't remember what was in the engine bay.

you can throw some vacuum caps on the ends if they really worry you, but I believe mine were the same - long and covered by the inner fenders
