Just a 411 for anyone whos interested in attending. Its cool to say you attended the first grand national truck show. If you're familiar with the Fairplex, than you know they do anything on wheels. Including a train museum, the NHRA museum, NHRA drag strip, monthly twilight cruise, and one of the biggest county fair. It's especially known for the Annual Grand National Roadster Show which just had the 73rd. But this year is the first grand national TRUCK show. Suppose to be BIG. From trophy trucks to just regular trucks. Growing up near the Fairplex as a kid in the 90s was alsome. Now I'm just an hour drive. Anyways, swing by. I might make it. Why not, it's my stomping grounds.

First I've heard of this one. I'm going to try to make it. Already registered for a big event that weekend, Route 66 in Ontario. Think I'll try to go on Sunday.

Is that part of the Route 66 Rendezvou? I use to go when it was in San Bernardino. You know, back when the Carousel Mall was open.

It was kinda taken over and restarted by Ontario Convention Center. Much better and safer event. I was a yearly participant in San Bernardino, about 15 years running, until it turned unsafe after dark and many cars were reported vandalized and parts stolen. I think my last event there was about 2006/7. San Bernardino has tried to reinvent it several times but has not gained much traction.

I can't believe that auto swap meet opens at the pre-dawn hours. That's crazy.

I can't speak like I know much--I have only been once a few weeks ago in august. But I arrived at 6:15 am and there were plenty of people, and it really got busy quickly.

It really is huge and I moved fast so I could get home quick--I was exhausted.
