The Modern Paint Code Thread

For those of us who want to use factory colors when repainting things, this thread is just for that.

There's codes shared throughout various threads, so this thread is one place to consolidate all of those. Please limit the colors to 60-66.

Please share the modern paint code and brand of paint used to match original paint colors. Exterior and interior colors, engines, transmissions, frame, etc.

Thanks Christian. This will be a thread that will be very helpful. Paint codes, manufacturers, and colors are scattered across the forum and having them in one place will be great.

Chevy Orange Seymour EN-48 is highly recommended for the engine paint.

I have also used Dupli-color #1607 Chevy Orange.

Chevy orange wasn't used on any 60-66 truck though Keith .

Dang it! Sorry.

I was so excited to have all the codes in one thread that I forgot where I was.

That's ok, Keith. I think I remember reading somewhere on here that the Canadian trucks got orange engines?

When I was rebuilding my engine in my 65, I found some paint left on the oil pan and went to the paint store to find a match. This is what I came up with.
