My project truck I never could finish. I ended up buying a complete running '72 C10. The kid was so happy to be picking it up. Even as a roller he was excited. That's the kid, new owner on the trailer. He couldn't get his eyes off the truck. I told him and his dad how much more work was needed. His dad said "kid, we got this." Glad it's going to a good home.

That's great the kid is enthusiastic about the truck. Did you ask them to keep in touch on the progress, or bring it by when it's on the road? I'd had that happen before and that is a great moment for them and me, to see the pride.

I’m very happy for the young man, glad to see his dad stepping up and creating future memories with what sounds like will be a father/son project. They will both learn and grow closer together because of it.

I'm glad he was happy too.

I have had a couple muscle cars in my possession for 10-15 years that have gone nowhere due to life, and I've kinda lost my way(as far as cars go).

2 years ago when I picked up my '72 GMC, i felt it again. I still feel it when I look at it in my driveway, work is slow but I'm getting there. Can't wait for it to be my driver.

If that kid get's help from his dad he's sure to have it running soon.
