center console lock
 

I have one of these center console with a broken lock. the mechanism that locks it to the little latch is broken/missing. the outside part is there and so is the vast majority of the locking part except for the spring and the little claw in there.Could you people tell me how to remove this lock assembly and do you think the one from a 76 glove box would fit this thing?
