Question on ram's horn manifolds

Curious as to what the largist exhaust pipe that can be bolted to these? 2.50, 2.75 or 3 inch. TIA

Re: Question on ram's horn manifolds

Which rams horns are you using? Stock truck, or the Corvette-style 2.5"? I have the Corvette-style 2.5" and 2.5" stainless tubing. That's an easy fit. I think you could get 3" in there if you have the right flange.

Exhaust shops use 2-1/4" all the time, so it's ezee-peezy. But you can use a 2.5" head pipe pipe if you neck it down to 2".

Also Magnaflow, Flowmaster, and Pypes sell a pair of stainless 2.5" down pipes that are necked down to fit the truck manifolds with 45 degree dump. They have a smooth mandrel bend that runs back another 3 feet or so.

They're after market from Dorman, so it's most likely the stock size pipe
