glove box
 

I know this is a minor thing but it's kind of annoying. Is there a new and improved lock or latch ? On all my previous (68 c10, 72 el camino, 72 chevelle ) and current 87 truck hit a bump and the glove box opens.

Have you tried adjusting the bar?

A new latch may help?
But with the Quality of parts nowadays maybe not.

One more thing I have noticed,
Is the plastic hinge goes to the outside of the dash?

I have seen some that where on the inside and didn't act right when closing.
