'72 C-10 Coil rear brake hose

Hey all,

Has anyone bought one of these lately? Most of the hoses I've located all say Leaf springs, and they're 17- 20" long. Except the Centric hose I found on Rock Auto. That one says it is for Coils, but it's even longer, at 20"!

I seem to remember my original hose only being about 13-14" long, but when I replaced it, I was running into the same issue, and finally just went ahead and put a longer hose on it. Worked fine, till recently. I suspect that's what's causing my dragging rear brake issue now. So I'm looking for what I think is a more correct length, but can't seem to find it.

I'm wondering if the aftermarket suppliers only make the one length of hose now because a longer hose will "work" for both applications??

Thanks for any help/insight.

Thanks. I forgot about ebay!

But I didn't see anywhere on the link that it was for coil suspensions, just that they list the many applications it will fit, including 1/2 ton C-10. And it didn't specify the length.

Have you gotten it yet? Do you know the length?

Inline Tube is good stuff. I used them when I replaced all the original brake lines on my truck.

Thanks, Jeff! I guess we were typing right about the same time when I asked my question just now. Really appreciate you scrambling to measure that!

Seems they're all about the same length. I'll probably order this one too. Can't beat that price for a quality product.

Just noticed that Motor City Muscle Car is a subsidiary of ILT...
