License plate light bulb: How do I remove it?
 

How does this bulb come out?

I tried pushing in and turning and just pulling with force, but it feels snug still. Thought I’d ask before I break it.

You will probably break it but I would spay it with PB Blaster ten grab the bulb and push it in while turning it counter clockwise. If it breaks the bulb off use needle nose pliers and do the same until you get the bottom portion out.

I also use the PB Blaster, but I push and pull on the bulb a few times until it moves easily before trying to turn it.

If you have an air nozzle blow around the outside of the bulb where it sits in the socket to get some of the junk out along with the spray

I have those lights in my bumper also but I need the lenses for them, anyone have a source for them ?

I got mine at O'Reilly Auto Parts. I'm not really sure which one I bought, but I took the old one into the store and compared.

Wear gloves. If that bulb breaks, it'll do some skin damage. Ask me how I know.
