long bed problem

I have a 66 long bed fleetside that I'm putting a new bed in. I need a big favor from the long bed owners. I need some real good pictures of the front of the bed that shows the position of the front mounts. I would like both finished beds and unmodified frames. I need to verify the frame mount position. I'll explain more later. Thanks

Not sure if these pictures are close enough to help, but it's all I have for the moment.

That bare frame photo is close. Do you happen to have any more of that frame? I have the 2 front bed to frame mounts on each side that are 12" apart that hold the front cross sills that bolt to the bed and then a dummy cross sill at the front end of the wheel houses. I have been told that this is not correct for a long bed fleetside so I am trying to verify that this is correct since he won't believe me.

I'm not sure who told you that, but he would be incorrect for a long bed. I no longer have that frame, but I have some old pictures of when I redid the bed wood on my 63. It'll be the same as your truck. I forgot I had these pictures way back in the files.

Ignore the blue circle, I don't remember why I circled that
For a long bed, there's 3 full bed to frame crossmembers in front of the wheel wells that bolt the bed to the frame. There is a short crossmember that does not bolt anywhere to the frame, but it does tie the front of the wheel tubs together and provides an additional crossmember for bed bolts. The rear of the wheel tubs bolt into a full bed to frame crossmember.
