Where do I install flush T?

Hey folks, Quick question, I bought a peak radiator flush kit and it says to install the flush tea on the in-line hose going to the block and not the one that goes to the water pump… The issue is one of my heater hoses goes directly to the radiator the other one goes to the water pump and then the water pump has a bypass hose that goes straight to the engine… So where exactly do I hook up the flush tea so I can do a flush on my engine?

Your heater core should have a hose from the intake manifold, and the return hose should be to the water pump or the radiator. You would place the tee in the hose to manifold. That would flush your engine. If you have a plug in the manifold, you could replace it with an NPT nipple and connect your flush hose to that. You'll probably want to remove the engine plugs on either side of the block above the oil pan.

Put it in the hose going to the bottom of the heater core.

Correct. The block will flush no matter where you put it. It's the heater core and radiator that the flush is mostly about. Smaller passages in both cores are the number 1 clog areas, so pressure matters there. The radiator can be flushed by itself or even removed for a professional flush, cleaning, or rodding

Everything should be reverse flushed.

To flush the heater core you would put the flush tee in the hose at the top of the heater core. To flush the radiator by itself, flush from the outlet to the inlet. To flush the block, flush from the intake to the water pump.
