If you would have told me that I would have used a coat hanger as much as I have when I started restoring my truck I would have thought you were joking, lol :)

Pick set.
Don't go HF as the handles turn in the picks, almost worthless if you can't rotate them.
Very handy and used all the time. Handy to get the little retainers off of the heater cables with out damaging them.

Oh yeah, I need those. :) I've needed them a dozen times and I keep using a tiny Allen wrench held with vice grips. Not good on the Allen wrench.

Honestly, the tool I use most often is my Leatherman Wave+. I have a garage full of very useful tools, but I reach for the Leatherman all the time. I broke a blade (misusing it, of course) a few years ago and sent it in for repair. My son was laughing at me because I kept reaching to my hip for my Leatherman. I ended up buying another one the same day I broke mine. Not having it is like having my right hand gone.

Sawzaw and other implements of destruction/disassembly! I use to fight every old rusted part off the truck when replacing with new. Now I just let the sparks fly and move on to installing the new as quick as possible!

It's going to be my cordless 18v Milwaukee and Makita impacts(all sizes). How on earth did we do this for 50+ years without them!! ??

Personally do not know how anyone does any fabrication or major mods to parts w/o Milling machine. had one for 30 years and it is like left arm just too heavy to take with me when leave hom.

A chair.
Preferably on wheels.
Tall ones and short ones.
Even adapted a seat to go on my floor jack. Works great. Go high or low.
I suppose a jack stand seat would work too.
