Rear shock relocation

Have 67 that is lowered 6", it wallers down the road like a 49 Buick with no shocks. Anyone relocated rear shocks on 67-72 Suburban? Would order a kit except they all are for PU's. Look like fuel tank may be in way and getting to upper mounts would be PiA. All suggestions welcome

This link shows how I did mine. Starts at post 517. Mine isn't a 6 inch drop at ride height though.

Re: Rear shock relocation

Thanks a bunch for the link. Big help.

As I suspected
"The shocks would not function properly if they were mounted more than 30 degrees off from 90. With them being 40 degrees off, they may tend to have lapses in dampening."

You're welcome. Good ĺuck with your project and keep us posted on which way you go.
Have you looked into the No Limit shock relocation kits? They may be a better option for a 6 inch drop. They have a nice tech page with information on them.
