Newly joined, old GM sole

I recently acquired a 1970 C10 with a two-tone paint scheme based on 71-72 specs. First project was 3-point seatbelts! In removing the seat we found a prior owner's signature painted on the floor pan, but no build sheet or broadcast sheet. We'd like to know more about this prior owner, David Senesey of Pennsylvania, unfortunately he has passed away 2022. Apparently he was
an accomplished Chevy Pickup lover. Please let me know if you knew him. We've added some photos of the truck in the photo album section.

I appreciate that you want to know the history of the truck including the original owner. Keep us updated. I couls not find the pht album section that would have moe photos of this truck. I would live to see the owners signature. Should we all be doing this for posterity?

That's a great question...here's another one that you inspired: How many of our trucks have this feature, a signature of a prior owner, and we don't know it? I found this because of the seatbelt project, had to remove the bench seat. The owner who sold this to me had it for 11 years and he never uncovered this artifact (we can't really assume how many owners the truck has had...we just know that Dave S. did work on it circa 1989 and had the bench seat out then...likely for body repair and painting since we can see the overspray on the interior).
