3 Mirrors Later, What To Do With All These Holes?
1 Attachment(s)
My 90 suburban is at least on it's 3rd set of door side mirrors. I don't care about the old extra tripod mirror holes and such, but what about the upper holes above the wind wing? Any possible use? Could just save them for future Mad Max-esque upgrades or Flux capacitor/blinker fluid usage. Any ideas?

I would just plug them with plastic round plugs
One of those old style police car spot lights ,flag mount ,LOL |
Re: 3 Mirrors Later, What To Do With All These Holes?
Yeah some plastic plugs will work for that.
You can even get some that be close to body color. A little bit of glue/silicone to hold them in and your done. Link for Plugs: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=plastic+h..._ts-doa-p_9_18 |

I used Christmas tree type push in clips to plug the old mirror holes

Lowes has an automotive section with various plugs in the hardware aisle with various metal and wood screws, a little touch up paint and you're good to go.

the proper way is to weld em up and refinish door but that is more work and time than youre looking to do

Re: 3 Mirrors Later, What To Do With All These Holes?
Yeah, the old trick for holes in the door panels is to put a small piece of sheet metal behind it and weld it shut, then grind and bondo, but would be a bit trickier for those ones on the window frame. I've never tried it but shoving steel wool in the hole before welding may provide enough of a backstop? Or may be asking for rust trouble LOL...
