63 Corvette intake.

I've been cleaning out the deep dark corners of my shop. I found an intake manifold that I thought was stolen. It's an original 340 horse aluminum manifold in excellent condition. The part# is 3794129 with the snowflake logo. $675 + shipping. The pics were not attached, I'll
try and rectify that.

Here is what it would look like installed on a 340hp 327.
Some differences in the manifolds, early and late. Both have the same casting number.
The chrome oil filler tube isn't correct for this application.

so...I will let some of my uneducatedness come out.
What carburetor fits on that? I mean does it go sideways? I haven't seen any intakes like that. Granted I don't own a Corvette.

I believe it was a Holley. I've seen some of the manifolds with the center cut out...

No Holleys on 327's till 1964. It requires an AFB Carburetor.

Dale iam going to give you some good advice here and I don’t usually do this but what you need to do here is go find a 63 split window that needs this and make a offer they can’t refuse hopefully a red on red one :metal:

They don't all have to be red. Don't have one anymore, but here is mine from back in the day. Another one I should never have sold.

As Accello stated it came out with a Carter AFB.

Here's a Picture.

One of the Realtors in town had/has one.

I have not seen him in probably close to 40 years now.

The guy that rented the shop from Daddy worked on his Vette.

It was Numbers matching.

And Yeah:uhmk: It was Red.;)
