LS Tac Module Location

LS drive by wire guys.

Where have you mounted your TAC module? My truck is stripped and heading to the body shop next week. So it's hard for me to visualize where I can put it. Also, where did you run the grommet thru the firewall for the pedal harness? Any of you have pics?

I used the stock engine harness on my Gen IV LS so I was limited for ECM location, forward on the inner ds fender partly hidden by the air filter.

The pedal wires and other wires that had to pass through the firewall (eg OBD II wires) are just below and inward of the booster bracket. I used a two piece grommet. If you're going to use one of those grommets I suggest you drill the big hole and the holes for the small screws before the motor is in when you have clean access.

Thank you! That helps a ton.

I made a plate the hung down right in the middle of the dash. It did make AC hose routing a little right but it worked.
