1971 Chevy 4 x 4 fleetside short bed
 

Up for sale is my partially resored 1971 4x4 fleetside shortbed - Custom Delux. Original factory air, automatic, power steering, power brakes, posi rear. I have owned this truck for 38 years. Purchased in high country Colorado. One of only 3068 built in 1971.

The cab is very solid. Floors are solid - no holes. Inner and outer rockers are replaced. New cab corners are in. New doors hung. I have the original bed floor, cowl panel and tailgate. Have 95 % of all the original parts that were removed. Two complete firewall air units - again original and another I purchased. Cab supports were 95% rustfree except at rocker location. Now replaced.

Engine is not original - replaced with new Target 350 with 5000 miles.
Currect auto in truck is slipping, but have new rebuilt turbo 350 for truck - needs installed.

Pictures as soon as I figure out how to do it. I am a poor computer skills person. It is listed on Facebook currently with pics.

Have new core support, inner fenders. You will need need to purchase new bedsides, front panel, inner bed fenders, front fenders and hood. I was planning all new sheet metal including bed floor and tailgate.

The frame serial number matches the door plate and spid label. These original fleetside shortbeds are getting harder to find. Especially with the options this one has. $15,500.00

OK - figured out how to load the pic, but they load sideways??? Anybody help!

do you know how many short bed fleetside K10's were made in 72? a buddy has a barrett-jackson ready mint mint mint 72 K10 he's got a war pension invested in and he's wanting me to try and sell it but trying to figure out what a #1 top of the line restoration adds to ones value is tough

Barrett Jackson is a gamble because of no reserve ….the truck will sell. I’d try Bring a trailer first.
