Interesting -- I never realized anyone was making a 17-inch OE-appearance rim like that(I googled the tire part number).
The 17x7 size would definitely be useful for clearing larger front brake calipers on my project sometime in the future. As is, a certain axle/brake combo that I'd like to pursue won't fit inside the stock 16x6.5 rims. |

The 35 12.5 toyos on the truck now are on the stock 16 x 6.5 wheels
Nobody wants to mount that size tire on a 6.5 wide wheel . A buddy that works at a tire shop had to do it .....that was ten yrs ago ...tires are shot ....I love my caps ...wasn't sure what to do , then I found these .. Went with the 17 × 8 .....better tire options I'll post picks when I get them mounted up |
