Glove box door plastic bits
2 Attachment(s)
So one of those thing that drive a guy nuts. When taking apart things to paint I carefully put everything into bags, and now I’m confused where the little plastic things went. I’ve searched the interwebs,, nothing. Do the plastic squares fall out or wtf?

Re: Glove box door plastic bits
I'm not sure what "plastic bits" you're talking about.. Three square weld nuts have fallen out. They're available at most hardware stores. But they weld in, so you'll have to repaint after you install them.

Re: Glove box door plastic bits
Sometimes those nuts fall off inside the glove box between the two layers of metal. I’ve had some luck rattling it around until you can see the nut. Then you can pull it tight with a long screw and epoxy it back in place. They generally don’t come out the front side

Wow, that sucks. I have never seen those weld nuts come out. Good to know! One more thing to watch out for.
