I had purchased this year's ago for my 63 C10.

I feel it would be correct for a 62 as well, but you may want to confirm.

I was not aware that 62 had a different face. I always thought 60-63 were the same. As long it fills the hole on the dash, its good enough for me.

61-63 are the same lens but the one Tchevs is buying for his 62 in this ad is 1960 only. So wish people would do their homework and not swap parts like that because it makes it hard for future generations to correct all the incorrect things previous owners did

you should really install a correct radio with the 61-63 lens since this one is for 1960 only, and aside from not being right for you to begin with, is much harder for the 1960 apache owner to find - so you passing and letting a 60 owner take it would be the less self centered generous path

To tell you the truth. Im not building a 100 percent original truck, just trying to fill a hole in the dash. Thanks to the education you just provided, my older brother which owns a big window 1960 will be getting this radio for Christmas. I hope that puts me in the less self centered path.
