'03 Tahoe Windshield Wiper Switch
Since it doesn't rain much here in Tucson, I don't think about the Wipers operation much. We had a hell of a storm Friday, and I noted that while the Wipers have about 6 or 7 notches for intensity, only the highest one works.
While that was the right setting for that gullywasher, moderate and interval wiping would be good. Wiper blades are about shot, too. I thought I replaced them in March, but maybe not. Also there's a hole in the washer fluid reservoir. I looked at the Switch Assembly on RockAuto. About 50 or 60 bucks. Brights - High/Low, and Cruise Control are also involved. Does the Steering Wheel have to come off to access this switch? |

No steering wheel removal required. Separate the two plastic halves and there you go. You can YouTube multifunction switch removal.

Re: '03 Tahoe Windshield Wiper Switch
So, while watching some YouTube videos, I saw some models with a Windshield Wiper Delay. Is that switch drop-in-able to my '03?
[EDIT] OK. Never Mind. Looking at a catalog, I see what I was looking at was a Rear Wiper control. Since mine has Barn Doors, I have no Rear Wiper. |
Re: '03 Tahoe Windshield Wiper Switch
I would think so.
