Performance Online rack & pinion kit $600. Mocked it up about a month ago, decided to go a different route.
These are over $1200 new plus shipping

CPP 3” front drop springs $50 . only used for mock up
CPP 5” rear drop springs $50. only used for mock up
CPP 4" HD rear springs $50. only used for mock up

Stock upper and lower control arms $100. These have been blasted and painted. New Moog 73-87 ball joints and bushings replaced. Mock up only

Stock trailing arms , blasted and painted $50

Ebay trailing arm crossmember with anti-squat brackets $50

I agree with the OP and would caution against the CPP (Mustang II) rack kit. My side by side experience with that rack/bracket and the No Limit version ('07 Silverado) kit was eye opening.
Especially on any "customer" vehicle.
