'66 to '69 Saginaw OD Trans 7 Bolt Side Cover

1 Attachment(s)
I need a side cover for a Saginaw 3-speed transmission with the Borg Warner overdrive. I believe this transmission was made from 1966 to 1969.

This side cover is the 7 bolt version and has a machined pad that is needed to activate the lock out rod when the transmission is shifted in reverse. Straight drive transmissions do not have this pad.

A friend who has one of these transmissions allowed me to take a photo of his side cover. The pad is circled in the photo.

Thanks!

Very nice! Thank you for letting me know. Is it a parts transmission? I would not want to take a good one apart for only this one part.

Mapping shows 9 hours away from me. I'm not able now to make that distance.

Again, thank you!

Yes, distance does affect plans. Thank you for your answer. I will keep you in mind in case I do happen to be able to travel that far.

Thanks,
