84' Suburban VIN 1G8GK26M9EF121624 Verification
I just acquired this K2500. Everything appears to be original/stock. How can I be sure or what was original and what is not?
If it is in fact all original I may just want to keep it that way. Other than a one time stall/lose of fuel delivery driving it home 4-1/2 hrs, runs and drives great. I'm guessing it's the fuel pump or filters. It really didn't get hot enough to vapor lock, I don't think anyway. I've never had anything all original before and it just would feel criminal to modify it if it is. Thanks, |

Check the SPID label in the glovebox. It will have all the RPOs listed it came with originally.
Or - for more detail - contact the GM Heritage Center archive and request the original invoice, based on the VIN. It will contain RPO content and pricing (including any applicable discounts), build date timing and selling dealership info. Might even have the original owner's name on it, if it was special ordered. K |
