Window Regulator Function & Pop at Top

Think the windows on my 72 are difficult to operate and when rolling up completely at the top they pop. Both sides as if something is too wide for it's channel but makes room and goes anyway with a pop. Any ideas?

Re: Window Regulator Function & Pop at Top

Are they original windows and steel window track channels? If the steel track channel has been replaced, it is possible that too much urethane adhesive or the window bonding strips were not trimmed properly, and they are binding on the upper outer door rubber sealing strips that snap to the top of the door skin.
